Can anyone point me in the right direction, regarding the removal of sliding glass from 1963 doors please?

Theres four screws underneath the windows(2 in each track from memory) however the heads on my screws were rusted. so i had to drill the heads off the screws, then pull the chrome/stainless bottom rail along with the windows out together. Then remove the screws that you have drilled the heads off.
