Hey was just wondering - how do you mount your exausts- are they slightly loose inside the clamps that attach it to the two rear mounts or is the flexibility in the rubber on those mounts enough and the clamps are idealy tightened?

Clamps are both tight on pipe. The rubber mounts provide flexibility. Watch they are not under undue strain, or they will fail prematurely.

With a remote shift like yours they should last years, but with a rod change they are under far more strain- and the rear S mounting bracket (aftermarket) tends to crack easy.

Thanks again Kev, I've opened the existing exhust and its just a straight through pipe with raised honeycomb like round holes - so if it aint broke - no need for the RC$$40 the current one stays on :)

The two rear rubber mounts provide ample flexibility, the clamp around the pipe should be tight, to save any rattles.

I have been through 3 of the block mounts in two years (on my 3rd), because of the way the engine is mounted in a mini (east-west) it produces more strain on this mount, meaning quick/heavy acceleration will wear it down quicker.
