it has a sticker on it "fire flash", does anyone know what it means? there is one in a shed at my grandparents, and was wondering if it was anything special?

It is off an early Australian Morris 1100 from 1964/65. They were sold with the "FireFlash" motor as a marketing gimmick. It is just a normal 1100 motor.

But you have to remember that this was when the Mini only had an 850 and the 997 Cooper was rare and exotic. So an 1100cc was big news.

thanks for the quick response morris :)

there was a couple of 1100s in the paddock at my grandparents years ago that were used for bits and pieces, so that'd be where it's from.
