Hey,

Im just trying to remove my oil filter and its extremely hard to undo. What i was wondering is what way looking from the top do you turn to undo? im 99% sure im doing it right but i just cant undo it so im thinking maybe im turning it the wrong way

*EDIT* Its all good got it. I just took the whole lot out and put it in a vice

Good stuff.

I have had to remove one on a mates car that was really tight. I just stuck a screw driver through it to get some more leverage.

Another one I had to do on mine required me to take the entire thing of and put it in a vice. That still didn't work, so we used a gas torch to heat it up and release it. That was after the one and only time I took the car to a none mini mechanic. Now only me and one other person work on my car. Never have a problem.

I use a 3 finger filter tool, T&E Tools 4278.
I bought it for the Ford but it works great on Mini filters too. :wink:
It's made in USA but there are el cheapo copies (chinese, of course) around that do still work.
