OK, I know many here would not give a rats, but some creep stole my 2002 BMW M3 today. The car is parked in our back yard in a garage with roller door access to a rear lane. They also took heaps of my tools (only the Snap On and Blue Point stuff mind you and my once brilliant Festo drill kit), my 50th birthday Breitling watch, a security clicker for the house, house keys and the clicker for the garage door that faces onto a lane.

Not a bad days work really.

The Cooper S and my 2 Ducatis are still there. Maybe for a mate of the creep to pick up later.

Got a locksmith in now re-keying the place and will re-program the security clickers when No.2 son gets home.

Not sure if I need a drink or a gun.

Not happy at all. That car WAS a keeper like the 1970 Cooper.

That really sucks. I think a drink is definatly needed. i know how angry i would be if i had a m3 and snap-on tools and they all got pinched. :cry: :evil:

Sorry to hear of this discusting and low act. I imagine that you and your family would be feeling 'violated'. That's pretty poor.

thanks folks. Cops on there way now. Stuff went between 2.30 and 3.00 pm. The guy left his reading glasses on my work bench!!! Good taste, but dumb as.

How did they start the M3? Good question. I think it was a random burglary and he/she/they lucked out. They got into the house, found my watch in the study, keys and clickers in the bowl in the living area and off they go with a car to carry the booty.

Tomorrow I buy some serious bike cables for the Dukes and mini and dyno bolt them to the garage floor and then make sure my angle grinder is outta the way.

I feel sick about the M3 going and even sicker that these sucks know what was left still to 'collect'. An M3 you can get, the Cooper S and Ducatis are a different story.
