Post subject: | Rear Seatbelts in an 850??? |
Has any one ever fitted rear seatbelts in an 850? I am certainly happy to go to a seatbelt fitting station but just wanted to see if anyone else has done it before. As my youngest is nearing the age to be introduced to the Mini, I would love nothing more then being able to get both her and the fun sheriff in there. However that means fitting a proper child restraint and having decent anchor points installed, any thoughts? |

I would take it to Littles in Blacktown. They will do it properly and certify it. |

Can't remember now. I have looked for the receipt as Chong was also looking into it, bugger me i can't find it now as it was 4 years ago now. They also give you a certificate saying they did the work |

When I got mine done in around 2000, it cost me $60. Probably be closer to $100 now. |

Approx. $60 to $100...thats good coin for the work and more importantly the signed certificate. The brackets and holes can be made in a half hour, but the peace of mind with the certification is worth more to me. |

hehe... none of em did, up until the Clubby. I have a 6" x 6" bit of 3mm plate under mine for the 3 point harness top mount, it fits hard against the back seat. |

Actually no idea on a 850 parcel shelf as I have never stuck my head in that area, don't think any one wants to see that...but you just made think their is a 4th anchored point for the baby seat which I have never looked for but have only seen from above infront of the speaker. Ill get back to you on the weekend with a pic |
