Only $2165 ex the States or AUD $2384 plus shipping. Not bad if you like carbies sticking out the front of your bonnet.

If that's the Yank one (also available from a well known Mini shop in California), I've been told it has problems.
The alloy is too soft, threads pull out, they are prone to distort, etc.

And for the prices shown in 1st post you could have an Elder 7 port, made in Oz. It has proper separate intake manifolds, so you don't HAVE to use DCOEs carbs or throttle bodies.

[edit] And I'd want to see some real HP figures before I bought any aftermarket Mini head. :P

Anyone bought one yet? I'm very tempted.
And who would't want two Webers poking out the front? 8)

If you are just after the look go for it. If you want performance gains then I suggest you do a little research. Power costs money. There are no shortcuts. Have a look at specialist components, they do a no nonsense setup.

I have looked at the SC heads, but I can't afford that much performance!
Ideally I'd have 16 valve bike head conversion, but again time & money are against it.

Was going to build another 12G940 big valve head to replace my current cracked one, but could stretch the budget to one of these.
