I went to the local scrap yard and saw these two.
Moke was sold.
I was hoping the mini would be good for a donar for my car.
but there is no floor at all and boot is rotten. (I need a rust free arse end)
probably some good things salavagable above floor level.

Someone save the little-wheel Moke!

Being in Mildura will help reduce the rust, but better get onto it quick.

Rare little beastie, worth saving I reckon.

Where in Mildura was the scrap yard (just so people know where to go).

I would - if I had the space, the time, the ability and the inclination.

:D

Watto.

Probably uneconomic to restore, but you just hate to see them end up like that.

Like Maxx & his moggies - tries to save them all

that 850 would be a 61 or 62 - the vic number plate prefix HVT gives it away... other than the rust it does look like a nice straight car

I agree , grab the 850 even if it's just to strip out for parts like the window latches (one side only by the looks) and any interior it may have .

Oh , and I want the numbers from it's ID plate

d'oh! :D

I did write the comment "maybe 63 if it was first registered a long way from Melbourne - one of dad's Minors is a '61 with HJM prefix - probably a Melbourne car

I asked the price was told no resonable offer refused. still thinking about making an offer.
there are bits like indicators, steering wheel, door trims, sliding window parts, panels. ect, ect - that would be good for Niffty.

Can someone just go and get this Mini, it is just to far for us to go, or we would. If someone would like to get the mini for future project but dose not have the space to store it,. One more in our yard would not be noticed, Go get it before the magnet dose. We live at Ancona. Vic
