its either a 1275 OR a small-block with a 1275 head on it....
see the thermostat studs ? on a big-block, they are in line with the front of the car, on a small-block, they are at a 45' angle ! (easy, huh!)

Thanks for that tip Kev !

Its pretty cheap if its got a 1275! Check what brakes it has got if you go and look, someone might get a bargain!

Its too far away for me to look at or I would have done the same thing! Keep us updated with what it actually is. You may just find that he does not know what he has! Good Luck!

Looks like a morris 850 panelvan (judging by grille). Probably between 61-64. (I think). Gear level has been moved back making me think it is a 1275, but definately not the original 850, as the gear level came through the floor nearer the front of the car. If it has a 1275, it is obviously worth more, and if it has a 1275 it may have disks. Your best bet is sussing the guy out to see what he wants so that you dont end up paying more than he wants. People pay big money for the 1275 and disks, so just make out that it is a standard mini and see what he wants for it. Personally If it had disks and a 1275 I would pay around 2 grand, but he may let it go alot cheaper if he knows nothing about them. Hopefully that is the case and you pick up a bargain for around 1000!

Good luck.

interesting.....I reckon its a K van (plastic master cylinders). .....converted to 1275 with remote shift.

Ebay + Mini = BIG $$$

I say it will sell for $1500. If it's a 1275 with discs, its worth that.

If we dont hear from GT1310, then it must be good....
