here is the deal pump the pedal and select gears easily

pump the pedal and leave it for 2 mins push clutch in again and gears can not be selected

what do you guys reckon :?

i would say u have a leak some were check ya line that goes to ya slave cylinder c if it has any holes or if it is leaking

I had a similar problem, my slave cylinder was pitted with rust and letting air in.

So, i replaced the slave and rekitted the MC - problem solved

If the seals in the slave are gone it should be leaking into the rubber boot and will eventually drip. If the MC seal is gone the fluid will stay in the reservoir or possibly leak down onto the pedals inside the car.

I would go the whole hog and fit new seals in the master cylinder, slave cylinder and fit a new hose.
That way all the perishable bits are all new and should give reliable service for a long time.

Try just bleeding the slave first.... Maybe check the adjustment ... do you have a return spring??
