any one done this conversion & ditched the fan? i know the newer mini's run this set up? any one got any photo's of the set up? |

Only the 97 onwards cars without AC had it. I don't see the benefits of it, it'll only make oil changes harder, particularly for anyone with an automatic roundy! ![]() |

I tried this many moons ago, long before Rover did it. As far as cooling went, it was no better, no worse, however it did make access to the oil filter and dissy really bad. The radiatior air circuit also caught a lot more bugs and stuff and so needed cleaning far more often. I wouldn't bother with it. |

On a clubby you could look at it, but roundy is a waste of effort. You'd be better off developing this for an A series: ![]() ![]() |
