Post subject:  easier wiring?

found this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 77428&rd=1
just wondering if it would be easier/cheaper for an auto electrician to wire this up or to fix my current hacked loom?

 beware not all looms for all cars are the same. Ask him what model it came from etc... "Mini Minor" means he either has no idea or it really is from an early model minor!

Buy a new one. It'll cost you $350 and it will be brand new and perfect! Do a search on wiring and you will find previous posts on the subject.

Cheers

ive probably asked this before but if i get a new one how much would it take/cost for an electrician to install?

depends if you pay cash, and weather or not they want to do it. Try and find a auto electrician thru mates first. could cost a bit, but it comes down to who and what they charge.

Best bet is to call the guy and talk to him. He knows what he does, so he will know what you need. I am sure he'll even add in wiring for a cd paler if you ask for it.

Cheers

they're easy as to connect up the loom - everything is colour coded so you can't go wrong. All the workshop manuals have wiring diagrams for each model...

had mione done recently, a guy came out and did it. Cost me around $500 to instal  even tho I started it myself. But if you know a bit about autoelectrics, it's only a matter of following the number/colour guide that you get with the harness (assuming you get it from vintage wiring in Coffs.
