can anyone tell me what the distance is from the closest point between the firewall & dellorto face is. I'm using a redline 3005 manifold

It will clear OK, with an offset Ramflo filter- whether it's a roundy or Clubby.
However the filter case will touch the speedo cable hard on a roundy, I increased the flange angle on the manifold 3° by milling it to stop this.

by touching the speedo cable hard on a roundy, do you mean if it has a cooper s/ mini k style dash cluster(which i intend on using)? is there enough room to have either a 40 or 60mm ram tubes?
