I need to get 3 ROH contessas with tires couriered from Sydney, does anyone know the weight of them so I could estimate a quote?

In-fact I bought this bulk lot of eBay just for the contessas, Am I right in guessing those things in the picture with the boot lids are remote change linkage tunnels?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270581644489

And if any sydney guys want any of that stuff let me know, It would save me the cost of couriering it

OK Kirby, I just weighed in a ROH fitted with an inflated Falken FK-073 with 50% tread and it tipped my wife's bathroom scales at 7.2 kilo's.

But my missus always reckons those scales read high

I bought four contessas with tyres of e-bay a year ago in Sydney.
Cost me fifty dollars in freight to send to brissy………think I put them down at ten kilo each to be on the safe side.
Had a friend of a friend who new somebody that lived that way to pick them up…..just got him to wrap two together and cover in plastic…………to beat the max weight allowed for couriers to lift…….if they where wrapped in a big bundle it meant they would need a fork lift to pick them up.

I was going to bid on these as well but……think I would be pushing my luck, with the friend of a friend…
And I just wanted the contessas as well……..been chasseing one just for the spare…..

i was shocked to see your name appear on the recent post list mate :)

Back to the question, i would say they would be about 8ish or so, but as Neil says, 10 to be on the safe side.

Can anyone confirm that the other pieces are remote change tunnels?
I am in need of one of those as well.

As you can see it was an impulse buy.
