Do you mean the jet adjusting nut on a HS type SU? I usually use my fingers to turn it. If that fails, I have a cheap cut down 9/16" spanner thats about 2" long that does the trick. There is also a little short SU spanner that you can buy for the job.

If you have a Ramflo concentric filter on it (little room under for fingers) swap to an offset one.

If your fingers can't turn it, I have a open ender bent at nearly 90*
that does it.
