How close is very? I have less than 5mm at the trailing arm and shock absorber.
I figure this is okay on the back as since the rear is lighter the tyres are less likely to deflect when cornering.

My old man chucked on the 12" superlites on the crappy Clubby today. I quickly checked them and noticed the tyre is VERY CLOSE to the trailing arm. Will I have any problems or should I pull the hubs off the Moke's rebuilt rear subframe and chuck spacers on. It will get spacers eventually, I just don't have enough spares at the moment. |
