My mate has an RVC type smiths tacho (new-ish not the inductive wire type). He has electronic ignition on it, and the tacho isn't behaving. I think there are a couple of different signal wires

Has anyone bought a smiths tacho recently and have the wiring diagram still?

Caerbont Automotive Instruments is not the most obvious website to go looking at , but there you are....

I forget the name each time but throw Smiths Instruments into google and its usually 1/2 a dozen hits down the list.
