Hey everyone was just wondering if anyone has ever put a 1987 mitsubishi colt 1.6 L engine (carby) into a mini and was wondering if it wa possible. I know that there are the "honda V-tech" , "Starlet GT" and the suzuki swift gti is there anything else that is feasable (spelling) in for cylinder cars.

The thing is that a mate said that he would give me his 87 colt for next to nothing when he gets his new toy (a 1986 corrolla) so I have to wait until then but it was only an idea at the moment but thanks for that anyway mak

I assure everyone that when I get my license that I will not be a ricer I will be a careful driver under circumstances that means that if I am in a hurry I will be driving in a way that is fastest but still sort of safe I won't be one of those boy racers that pull up along side other people and rev the guts out of the engine I'll let them pull up along side me and let them see if they win and a great quote that my father uses is "Son, It doesn't matter what you have got it is how you use it that counts.

Why is it one of the worst motors ever built? I would be getting it on the cheap anyway so I cant really complain

Even if someone paid me, i wouldn't want it!

Mitsubishi didn't call the Mirage a Colt cause it had such a terrible reputation when it replaced the new one..

It'd cost you more money to put it in a mini and it'd be slower...and break down more
