Going through some old paperwork of my mums, she had several brand new Minis back in the 60's and 70's. I have come across a couple of original Registration papers and delivery dockets, bit of a long shot but some one may still have the vehicles, details below:

Original Victorian Registration certificate for:
1968 Mini Matic, White, Reg. No: JZL126, Chassis No: 9ANAH150,
Engine No: 99H/119/H/150 (I know this car still exists as I saw it advertised in the trading post a couple of years back).

Original Dealer Delivery Docket and Receipt for:
1968 Mini Deluxe, Snow White, Victorian Reg. No: JZA806,
Chassis No: YMA2S231795, Engine No: 9YATAH33063.

Going through some more old papers, found another one,
this one belonged to me, bought it new in 1969.
Original Registration certificate for:
1969 Mk1 Cooper 'S', Indigo Blue/White, Victorian Reg. KEZ363,
Chassis No: YKG2S2/4724, Engine No: 9F/SA/Y/48300 (There is a typo on the registration certificate as it says 9F/FA/Y/48300) This engine will no longer be in the car as the Engine was transferred into a race car, and a stock engine was put in its place.

Great work posting this! Most people would just throw this away.

However, this is really important to try and find the new owner from a historical and value perspective.

Now go and slap your mother for selling them! :P

Hi Drewie,

That's interesting. I also purchased a 1969 Indigo Blue/White Cooper S (with blue upholstery) new from Kellow Falkiner in Russell Street, rego KKB 374. I'm sure the copy of the registration papers I still have only lists the engine number and not the chassis number (or the other way around).

Would it be possible to see a copy of yours?

Doug

If you give me your email address (PM me) and I will scan it and send it to you, mine has both bits of info on it, the document is a bit moth eaten after 40 years, I ordered Indigo Blue with Blue Interior like you, but when it arrived at the dealer it had a light fawn or doeskin interior, it looked fine so I went through with the deal. Mine was a Mk1 but the dealer ran into trouble with Vic Roads or whoever it was at the time, they would not register it as they said the wheels protruded past the body line, the dealer got onto BMC and they new of the problem and sent them out a flair kit, it was the flair kit that was standard on the MK2, so mine was a Mk1 with a dealer fitted Mk2 flair kit, first time the dealer had seen the new flairs,
the Mk2 was released a short time after.
