Hey guys/girls, we moved to Qld bout 6months ago, my mini is still in Melbourne and I am lonely :-p just wondering what mini owning friends are around my area? (sound desperate? Probably, but I miss my mini & haven't had a chance to get out much since moving here) anyway I am in the moreton bay shire area, would like to meet up, know about cruises/meets etc cheers Rohan |

Hi Rohan I am not in your area, (I'm near Ipswich) but you can find what is on in the MOCQ at www.miniownersclub.com.au . There is a run on in the Sunshine Coast area on Sunday which I will be at, you would be more than welcome to join in. If you want to chat I can send my number to you. Hi Rohan I'm in Brisbane during the week and up on the Sunshine Coast for 4 day weekends. Mini is not on the road yet  but getting there.

Hi there welcome to QLD!! I'm in strathpine which isn't far away. There isn't much at the moment on the social scene here. but as Steve said get in touch with the mini owners club as they usually have something going. |

Make sure to teach MINIRO about Origin. He has to understand or he WILL ALWAYS be lonely in Qld without a thorough grounding in the meaning of Origin. 
Take heart, it's easier to teach a southerner about the Maroons spirit.

sounds a little sarcastic! Lol, we didn't realise the stigma attatched to some of the Reas up here before we moved up!!! :-p re: origin, I do need to learn about it, never been interested in gAyFL so I don't need to be converted, I did/do go for the Maroons, have always gunned for qld teams in anything, having said that I am very much a v8 supercar freak, but I REALLY enjoyed watching I origin 2 on Wednesday!! |

It's a pretty nice part of the world in my mind...everyone is a million miles away when you're lost around the mudflats islands. |

Welcome to QLD MINIRO.
I am sure you will enjoy the mini scene up here. The MOCQ is fantastic and there is always something to do on the weekends. I am also in the Ipswich area, my mini should be on the road in around 3-4 weeks. Have fun, Jason
