How do i tell what cam shafts i have, do i have to measure lift on on each cam and cross reference? or are they normally stamped or cast some where with a marking.

If they are standard mini cams then you have three ways to idetify the cam...

1) The lobe width 3/8" or 1/2"
2) Any (and number of) cast in rings on the cam
3) The type of oil pump drive (pin, spider or slot/metro)

If they have been reground then hopefully you can find a stamping or some other identifying mark to show that it has been modified. If you suspect it may have been modified but there are no markings then you can try to graph the cam yourself or send it to a cam company or engineering workshop who could graph it for you.
