Despite my opinion on how good or not the new upullit at lonsdale is...

was down there the other day and there's a clubman there. pretty ratty but i've got a pretty good mental image of what's there and not so ask away if you're after something.

Just don't fall into this trap from another forum I frequent......

Let me tell you a story. If I wasn't directly affected, it would be funny.

Last weekend, based on Ken Adams' heads up that there was an R8 at U-Pull-It Elizabeth, Simon & I made the long trek out there to investigate.

No R8 to be seen, but there was an R10 with a pretty good bodyshell and a pristine boot floor. We asked the guy at the desk what was the accepted method to get bodyshell bits. He said you needed a battery powered reciprocating saw.
During the week I bought the saw ($500 for an 18V saw with battery & charger), and arranged with Simon to return on Sunday morning (this morning).

When we get there, we were greeted by an empty space. The car had been crushed!

I was crushed also. I now have an expensive reciprocating saw, but no boot floor drain channel for the Gordini.

i've often wondered what the deal was with cutting panels out.... i kind of thought they'd do it for you with a bit of notice...

the other options would be... generator and a nine inch grinder or seeing if kennards rent out petrol demo saws with steel blades....

yeah they do turn over cars pretty quick sometimes...

I think they were specific about it being battery powered and not generating too many sparks by the look of it.
