Can anyone tell me what the little green light at the top of the speedo is? More importantly, what does it mean when it won't go out! ![]() |

never seen one of those lights come on! to confirm what Matt said, have a look at the oil filter housing, if there is a wire going in to the top of it, unplug it and see if the light goes out or ask Dr Mini - he might remember what Barney has |

On a Moke, which uses the same speedo, the Green Light at the top is the (low) Oil Presure Light. |

It could mean that the unused wire at the front of the engine has finally rubbed through the insulation and is earthing to the body or motor. ![]() |

Could it be the turn indicator? Thats what my MKI has, it's in parallel with the green light on the end of the indicator stalk. ![]() |

My Moke has an orange light at the top.... and strangely at the moment, she wont start, but the light comes on and stays on as well.... |
