What have people used to attach there radiator shrouds to the rad? Ive currently got some very small/short coarse threaded bolts that have had the heads powder coated. Was hoping to use something stainless perhaps? |

If you buy one of those chinese radiators off of ebay you get a M6x1.0 thread. I used stainless steel allen key headed bolts to hold the shroud on then. That is unless you specifically want to keep your radiator? |

The original style are still available new in bright zinc plating, not as flash as stainless or chrome plated but better than rusty I suppose... http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx? ... 033&title= |

Personally I don't like putting Stainless Steel Screws against plain Steel. It does cause the steel to rust lile crazy unless the paint and / or insulating washers are in good nick. |
