Mini 850 = 618.35kg Deluxe = 638.32kg Matic = 661.93kg Clubman = 643.23kg Van = 592.1kg Van late = 596kg (edited due to finger trouble) Cooper = 622kg Cooper S = 663.63kg Clubman GT = 678.5kg So pick a number ![]() |

So technically the weight on my 1973 Leyland Mini Clubman Sedan would be 643.23kg and on my 1978 Leyland Mini Van 696kg? This Correct? |

why is the van lighter? I would have thought the other way around?? Just guessing...no back seat, no side glass, no bracing behind seat, less steel in the floor(?).......... |

So if you want a mini for racing get a van, their lighter and with a longer wheel base they are more stable at high speeds (in theory anyway). |

not sure about up in qld, but down here in south oz, almost every sand and metal yard is a registered public weighbridge. for the princely sum of about 10 bucks most will weigh your car and sign a certificate for you stating the result. why not put your own car on the weighbridge and find out exactly..... |
