Post subject:  Weber manifold

Bought a weber intake manifold. Can anyone shed some light on possibly what brand it may be and what carbs it may suit?

will it fit 40 and 45mm DCOE webers?

I think it is the swan neck type i have read about so many times. This should fit without firewall mods to a 65 morris deluxe shouldnt it?

No it's NOT the classic Lynx `swan neck' (which is higher than it is long).
It looks similar to, but not quite the same as a Redline 3005/short Warneford one I use.
It should fit in without hacking, as long as you use either an offset filter (Ramflo etc) or short trumpets with sock filters.

I have one the same, had it since the early 70's. Been told is an early Derrington (UK) manifold, it uses O rings instead of the usual soft mounts. For a 45 DCOE, but a 40 will fit. Even if you use a small/narrow air filter, will still need to "adjust" the firewall.
