There was an Elf or Hornet for sale on here late last year or early this year? It was a NZ import and was in Victoria somewhere. I spoke to the owner at Minishow 2009. I don't know if it sold.

Cheers,

Last time I was at Northern Mini Parts, Andrew had one. It has been a long time though since I was there, so it might have been sold on. When I was a kid living in Malaysia in the '60's, they were reasonable common cars amongst the expatriates, if only had I known! 8)

There is a Riley Elf Mk3 in Canberra, in excellent contition, of which I have photographs. Most recently seen at the annual Shannons Wheels 2010 event in March.

The Classic Throttle Shop in North Sydney still has a Wolseley Hornet Mk 3 for sale http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/microcars.htm

Regards,

Rob

Andrew's (although quite nice) is a Riley front on a rover shell and not an original elf.

Damn! I can't believe it didn't attract a bid. Seems like a steal at that money.

I bet if it had "Mini" in the title, it would have sold.

I have the Elf that Brett is talking about. I posted it in the for sale section last year but had no bites. I have decided to keep it and improve its performance and braking while maintaining its original looks. A bit of a sleeper i hope. 8)
