Did any roundnose minis have twin electric horns fitted as standard? If so, where was/were the bracket(s) fitted?

Thanks in advance.......

AFAIK, no. Never ever seen two, even a Cooper S only got 1 electric horn.
Useless things.. I love my twin Fiamm airhorns (ex my `68 Fiat 124 coupe). They say GTF outta my way. :P

Early 997 Coopers had a pair of horns (Low and High tone) mounted on the front left hand side of the subframe. A separate wiring harness extension was used from the normal mounting position on the bonnet closing panel.

All of the dual Cooper S horns that you see on ebay are Morris 1100 horns. 8)

I rigged up a set of horns, high and low note on my '63 850 and it sounded great. Bonus was two horns were quite loud too, really got peoples (other traffic) attention 8)

They will be going into the clubman van as well.

cheers

As willy says. My 998 cooper had twin horns from the factory and still has.
