Whats the black sikaflex type goo thats used to retain plastic liners on the inside of doors behind the trim? It kind of always stays sticky and never really dries. |

Sounds like some type of butyl mastic. Some of them stay soft and sticky for ages, it might also be a bitumenous sealant (tar basically). Tim |

Nah it dosnt dry. It stays gooey, so even when the plastic is removed it can be re-stuck on again. Like blu-tac but black? |

mastic is your go! Sika stays rubbery, but mastic stays gooey. I think the wurth equivelant is called "dab-off", but not completely sure! |
