nup, if it's not on the plate (only on pre'69 cars) then unless there's a sticker on the firewall, you're down to rubbing paint off and hope there's some original somewhere

M1100 - don't go on about how it can't have a VIN plate

peel back part of the hoodlining should be a good indication of colour under there. Easiest part is the B pillar. Post a pic. You should get an answer pretty quickly. Mini K's in 71 are limited to only a handfull of colours . Shouldnt be too hard.

How extensive was the respray? Often the upper boot area, behind the fuel tanks, under and behind the back seat, etc. are missed so could be a good guide there. If items like door handles, master cylinders, wiper motor, etc. were not removed but masked up you could look underneath them.

Behind the switch panel beneath the parcel tray usually has some pretty nice non-sun bleached paint, although it s a little thin. The spray painters don't really manage to get in there very well..

Crystal White (11572) was a colour available in 1971.
It's a really stark white.

I'm not sure if there were any other whites on the standard palette for that year.

(?)

country cream is "very" cream, zircon white is a clubman colour, so doubtful, but possible. There were lots and lots of crystal white K's...
