Ive always gone 2 full turns out. So 12 flats. Wouldnt hurt to wip your plugs out n give em a clean in case you have fouled them. Have you confirmed you have spark with the new ign system? |

The electronic ignition may have changed your timing, so it may not be firing at the right time. Are you using one of those red hall effect sensors? Mine went straight on and the timing was fine, but yours may well need adjusting. If it'n not too hard, it might be worth putting your points back on, fixing the mixture and making sure everything else is running fine, and then switching back to the electronic ignition. Otherwise you're not sure if it's the mixture or the ignition that's the problem. |
