I recall many years ago seeing in a book coloured or possibly chromed coil condoms that cover over just the top of the coil. Any pics or suggestions on where to buy? Not after just plain black.

I believe Brad means one of the rubber condoms that stop the coil from getting wet.

I have only ever seen them in black.

I found years ago that using the rubber condom gave you more wet weather problems than having none at all. They sweat underneath in humid weather.
My wife's Morris 1100 would stop if it rained down the street...

Hmmm, well that could pose a problem up here? I dont drive in the wet anyways, its just for looks. And in the summer time or humid weather I dont drive it either.

Please stay on topic and keep this mini related.

Hanra, I have only ever seen black coil covers. I've always had one on my car and I can never remember it stopping in the wet.

Did it stray?
How about glow in the dark? Wouldnt need a breakdown light then!
Seriously though, so it comes down to a black rubber one or the chrome cover that superseven put up? Not much on offer.
