I would really love to go back in time and try to work out WTF was going on when they stamped the dates on those compliance plates. That one is the earliest number I have seen but it is not the youngest car by date.
I know they were fiddling things but how and why they did it.

And the reply is:

"Hi Alf,
Happy with the 20K for her, Have been offered that in the past, who ever gets her is buying an unmolestered original classic. I have never seen one in this original condition before.
All the Best.
- yoos1234"

I think he missed the humour. My 1275Ls is showing 63,000k's... Anything between 0 and 99,999 is acceptable for a mini :D

It seems like good value compared with the original 850 in this months unique cars which is advertised with 5100 miles for $65,000!

If the ozzy $$$ was at rock bottom, it would be very appealing for the US or JAP market

"Amazing.

I would have thought she'd be snapped up by now at that price. I maight have to hold off selling my 1977 Cooper GT. It would be worth at least $50k going by the price you are asking.
Cheers
Alf"

Lets see if he posts this one as well..

It'll be funny if he misses the whole Cooper GT joke
