this is the chrome strip that goes up the side of my car that came with the chrome flairs (the ones that cover the plastic innocenti screw on ones)

My question is how do i attach these to my car and the door still work properly.with out hitting it

Hey,
I have always attached these from the underneath- I screw them into the sill lip.
I have found that putting some (tiny) washers in between the lip and the chrome strip will pull the chrome strip away from the bottom of the door.

I hope that you understand what i am talking about.

-Andrew

Don't know about the chrome covers, I'd assume double sided tape or if they do have a lip that goes under the black flair I'd screw through that.
The side strips can be held on with metal clips or you can use a small pop rivet at either end.....or the small screws like Andrew said.

Yep jack that side of the car up and take the wheels off. Attaches the S/S arches to the Incent flares with S/S screws. You should also attach the Incent Flares with S/S Screws also but rarely done.
I'm thinking of another idea for A side strip...but I must say..I just tapped mine on with a mallet. They did take 4 years to fall off with 4 months between them
