Unless it's Rover they never had `hooks'.
Oz Minis all had a centre mount bracket, and a rear mount bracket. 850s also had a U-bracket welded to the main pipe, which bolted to the side of the diff housing.

OK OK - according to Mini King I have the 'Cooper S' brackets - Just worked out I had the muffler upside down  An hour of frustration so simply solved
