Does anyone know of a way to loosen (remove) a seized rear brake shoe adjuster? Mine is well seized and nothing so far has looked like moving it. If there's a 'special technique' for this I'd love to know. ![]() |

have you tried to turn it from the inside with a flat head screw driver bit in a drill?? |

because its quite large you can squirt some WD40 in it overnight someone recently suggested penetrating oil for these types of things too |

Oxy torch... warm it up- works wonders on rust! Watch you don't overheat the wheel cylinder though. ![]() |

Thank you for the advice, unfortunately, it wasn't going to shift. In the end, I removed the back plate and used a vice. Should have done this in the first place instead of spending the best part of a day rounding the adjuster off! |
