Post subject:  Swap Meeters... The Official Calendar
Hey all, I'm a bit of a swapmeeter - I love sitting around in the freezing cold before the sun comes up, collecting gold coins for rusty bits of Mini.....
ummm selling Quality merchandise for a bargain price, i mean!

I usually Take a Pantech Truck, about 1/2 full and make the better part of a grand.....

I'm happy to go in with anyone who wants to sell some stuff... Graham (In Aus) and I usually grab two sites at Cessnock and make a killing between us, usually monopolise the Mini market !

So, If you have some stuff to move, or just want to hang out for a day, or just come along and annoy your other half's by buying MORE mini stuff, here are the dates to remember....

April 24 - Morisset Swap Meet

May 1 - Orange Swap Meet

May 15 - West Kempsey

June 19 - Gosford Swap Meet

August 6-7 Cessnock Swap Meet

October 9 - Maitland Swap meet (Mostly Bike Stuff)

I'll probably be going to Morisset as a Buyer, Maybe Orange as a buyer, Gosford as a Seller, Cessnock as a seller and Maitland as a buyer..

There is also a rumour of a Mini & British swap meet in the west of Sydney in mid-June.... keep you up to date...

Oops won't be at Cessnock cause I'll be in Syd for the footy..Will come to the Gosford one then :wink:

Maintland showground......

Starting to see a pattern ?

These things are usually huge, Cessnock gets well over 2000 Sellers... god knows how many buyers !

SWAP MEETS are like the blokes equivalent of a MYER SALE for the ladies..... rummaging through tables of 'stuff' in search of that illusive bargain!

I love em! swap meets that is.

Once I was in Myers with my wife and there was a table of clothes on sale. My wife said 'watch this'....and started to fling the clothes around on the table saying "WOW"...."SO CHEAP"...."QUICK, COME AND LOOK" and within 5 minutes the table was surrounded by women looking for a bargain! :lol:
