I should have chased a magazine feature before I sold it. It seems to be one of the most asked about cars on here. It was a bit difficult to drive on the street with that much power and a very tight LSD. Had a habbit of changing lanes when you selected another gear. The bloke I sold it to insisted I remove the blower, methanol injection, LSD etc to tame it down. What a crap move that was. Anyway got another project on the go, should be pretty cool. Once you have gone black you'll never go back.

Some recent pictures, unfortunately the car didnt have the same spec engine in it by the time I got it despite being told it did. Im not sure what the previous owner (not lownblown) had done, all that will soon be fixed however. One of the risks of buying a car unseen from another state.

I have a metro turbo engine and g/box just finished complete reco today to go into it with vmax supercharger, storm ecu, twin alloy radiators etc.

Will start assembly of the new engine tomorrow.

These pics not the best, was about 40C when I took them and the car was quite dusty but will post some new ones when the metro motor is in and finished.

They were lightweight kevlar cobra seats, way to tight and uncomfortable for me so replaced them with cream Cobra recliners.

Nice to see it is still looking great, and I like your personal touches. Always cool to see my old cars. I recently came across a car I built that was featured in Hottest Minis about 15 years ago (white with burgundy roof 66BMC plates) The car still looks the same and is being used as a hill climb car.
