Whichever one you choose, have a look at Pitstop bookshop, they have been selling both these and other mini books on special lately.
Here is the latest mini book on special reduced from $89.95 to $19.95, I just ordered one myself. They deliver in a day or two and postage is usually $8.95.

Mini - The Definitive History by Jon Pressnell, its the most comprehensive Mini book that I can think of. Too short on detail on Aussie Minis but until Watto produces his opus magnum thats true of all Mini books.
