Post subject: | Ports on a HIF44 Carb |
Can anyone tell me what these two ports do on the HIF? As you can see I have the upper one blocked and the lower one (float bowl vent??) runs to my charcoal canister. Is blocking the top port wrong or ok? Thanks, M ![]() |

Just checked mine and my top one runs to my breathers and the other one is open to the air ![]() |

The one you have blocked off is for engine breathers but it`s not really a good thing,,, i`d leave it blocked off,,, the one with the hose attached is the float bowl breather |
