Hey,

i was driving along the other day and my throttle got stuck on. Luckily i wasnt fair from home and nursed it home. Anyway i brought myself a linkage kit but im having abit of trouble setting it up because it ahsnt come with destructions. This is the linkage kit i brought:

Anyway ive got a heap of little bits and pieces left over that i cant seem to work out where they go:

And yeh so my problem with setting it up is when i hit the pedal the revs go up and then kinda drop a little bit but the throttle doesnt seem to shut off properly. From the photos can anyone tell me if i have set this up right?

Thanks Blake

re the bits left over, the metal tab with the square hole, adjuster screw & spring loaded pin is for a dual carbie setup, connects to the gold lever near the butterfly shaft.

the revs not dropping, looks like there isn't enough tension in your throttle cable

Thanks junior, Yeh i thought they were for a dual setup but i wasnt sure.

Its a nice feeling linkage kit. Its all very smooth and the like
