Anybody have an image of a vans wiring. Specifically for the 71 Mini K Van.

Im going to strip the car, and would like to check everything out as i go.

Hey that's a handy link but the diagrams there are all for UK built cars :(

Hi,

If you still have the '63 harness, designed for generator & control box, then this article I came across in a "DIY" subscription thing (that you'd get from the newsagent week-by-week) from the 70s is a great guide for converting to alternator (2-wire).

Funny how in the pictures in the article it looks like a mini block!

Just make sure youv got a few spare containers of GENUINE( accept no less) LUCAS SMOKE :lol:

thanks vulcan.

it does have a box like that on the left wall of the engine bay, although it seems to have an alternator on it already. Engine seems to be a transplant of a Leyland Mini 998. The wiring is an absolute dogs breakfast.

I may end up replacing much of it. Hence asking for wiring diagrams.
