I expected to be helping a local rebuild a Mini, but i got a phone call two days ago. He has to move interstate, so his project ended.

So i go around today and tow home a nice rust free Mini K Van. Very Minor rust spot about 6cm diameter in the sill at the drivers side in front of the bottom of the door, and some light cracks in the floor pan. No salt to cause rust in the outback. Last registered in 1981.

The bloke said it was Mint Cream in color, although from what ive looked up, it might be Mist Green. Im not sure.

Sugar Cane or Country Cream or Crystal White or maybe even Zircon White, take your pick. It is hard to tell from my monitor what it was but it will probably be one of them.

It is not Mist Green and there is no Mint Cream.

its definately got a green tinge to it, so its not white. Bit hard to see in the photos, but its very very very light green.

i was going to jack it up last night, i dont have a scissor or trolley jack, and i got the kangaroo jack, but the mini k doesnt have the hole at the doors to jack it up.

where are the jacking points on a van. And what type of jack did the van come with a scissor jack???

The van jacks were different to the sedan ones. They were a kinda single sided scissor jack and it located on the a subframe bolt bead on the rear and under the drive shaft on the back.

I'll send a copy of an owners book
