Hi everyone

i am about to purchase some cobra classic seats and wanted to ask if someone in the Brisbane area has them installed that i could sit in and feel.

i spotted quite a few mini's at the muster with them fitted but didnt want to just jump in someones car without asking.

Please PM me or just reply to this post if you do.

Am happy to drive anywhere in Brisbane to try one out.

Greatly appreciated.

Jason

Jason, i`m actually not a big fan of them, we have fitted many of them over the years , i even set up a pair for our Targa Tassie Rally mini but i took em out. i just don`t really like em that much

but,,, in saying that,,, you`re shorter than i am (no disrespect meant) but still probly suit you better than my tall piece of pelican sh!te body

Getting in & out for me is a pain,,, but """IF""" you`ve got them set-right for your seating position,,, then once you`re in,,, they`re ok,,, i`m just too dam tall & awkward, getting fatter by the minute,,, & i`m pretty sure my body is sooo damn used to std factory mini seating position that anything other than std factory mini seats feel awkward to me now-days

i know it sounds stupid but std early model factory mini seats feel just right to me :-)

I`m only just starting to get used to the seating position in my buggy,,, it`s just not a std factory mini seat so i`m having trouble getting used to it,,, & i think you`ll find the same

I 've got them in my Minivan and Rover and yes they can be a bit of a pain to get in and out of at times

But I still think their advantages outweigh this - they are easy to fit, look good, hold you in great and are lightweight. Plus they are pure classic.

Thanks for your input guys. Matt i hear you, yeh i am a short A$%#!

the problems i have right now are the seat hits on the seat belt inertia reel so wont go back far enough, plus the seats dont have enough side support for my liking.

i have had fixed back race seats in my road cars before, some of which were near impossible to get in and our of

i have already sat in these seats at revolution racegear, but wanted to feel how they are in the car.
