Hi All, i have sold my rover but as it doesnt have a motor, most of the shipping places are charging an extra $400 becuase of this coming to $1300 Anyone got any ideas on how to get it over there? Just 2 far 4 me 2 drive. 2700 kms, 5400 return.... :-S Just trying to help the buyer out. Michael |

try ringing a few of the independant transport companies as some times they are looking for a back fill on a truck and they may have room for a pallet with a mini strapped on, or have you tried the railways, just a thought.. ![]() ![]() |

Just tell them its a pallet that is 4 foot high and overhangs each end by 2 foot and weighs about 500 kilos. |

extra $400 is cheap, i got quoted $2800 in shipping charges if i want to take my van back to QLD as a rolling shell. Alice is one damn expensive place to get out of. http://www.movingcars.com.au/ try this place for a quote. OR http://www.carcarrying.com.au/ |
