Hi All,
The throat of my SU is 35mm or 1.37" where the air filter bolts on. The float is on the side. Is this a H4 (1.5") ? If so why is it only 1.37"

It is 1.5" on the manifold flange, which is where they measure it. Yes it's an HS4.
Most SUs are smaller at the intake by design. (not sure about HIFs)
