It was also discovered whilst trying to pilfer a wheel stud off striped that one of mine was bent..... At least SG knows where to buy them, how much they are and how to fit the new one. Well i hope he does. |

![]() Harley...the flutes go into the hub when you drift or press the wheel studs in..... Oh Dear....they dont need very much force at all....maybe it had been over rattle gunned before and it was just waiting to let go.... I think it was the GT Falcons at Bathurst that were very sensitive to the torque applied if the wheels were to stay on....somehere around 20 ft/lb was used to torque the nuts.... Then of course there was the Alfa Romeo fiasco...but thats another story... |

It was Whitestriped's fault..... bugger him ![]() Apparently 40lbs/ft is the setting via torque wrench, yes Whitestriped i have fitted them, and they are $4.90 each new ![]() |

See?? THIS is why I keep all those little things like nuts, bolts, studs when throwing stuff out..... ITS A MINI AFTER ALL!!!!!!! |
