hey lads so i got my Mega jolt harness all done..

i have hooked everything up, i made a 15 amp inline fuse for the live feed as suggested, but i have no idea where i take power from it on the fuse box.

i have the live feed plug ready to plug in to the rover fuse box mounted on the firewall.

i see some numbers on the box is there a diagram where to hook it up on the firewall? or what tab in the fuse box. i see numbers.

thanks. not very good at all with electrics so bare with me.

I don't have a multimeter handy either.

maybe this helps, it's from 1984 to 1992, 998ccm engine

you man get power from number 1 at the fusebox, this is were the regular ignition coil gets its power from

im scared for you, this is going to end in disaster. please dont burn down your car. get a multimeter, they are $10 at dicksmiths/jaycar/repco/supercheap etc. and the fusebox is 17...sigh...maybe you should call an electrician

there is no "box" in this diagram, you have to look for something that looks like a fuse with some numbers at the ends and a big 48 close to it.
should be the upper fuse, left side of the fusebox, white wire connected to it, so you should have one free connector in front or behind it.

do you mean how i get the molex inside the car? quite easy, i use the unused hole for the speedo cable, british minis have two, one for RHD and one for LHD. and it is right were i need it, right behind the glovebox
