as it come from the factory, starter motor/generator/distributor/gearbox/manifold etc were all fitted to the engine before it was painted...

Greetings All. Finished assembling 850 for my '64. Painted block green. Engine mounts etc black. Stripped Starter of orange paint (Lent it to mate long time back and it got a dose of his colour.) Q: Some time back there was a topic on starter and generator colour. Should they be green or black? Has anyone got a pic? I will leave alloy bits un-painted. Alex. |

Thanks 850 Man. Sorry for the long gap in reply. Had a late night in the shed and worked all day at my sons house. Just cleaned up and re-assembles starter, will do the Generator tommorow. Cheers Alex. |
