It's an interesting idea..

I could see it being useful to move around shells too...( all you would have to do is plug in a rear subframe with wheels.)

I've always though that the mighty-boys look like honda citys with the back cut of...

Would be perfect for a mini, really, because it's not like you can tow a caravan with a mini. And yes, I'm expecting (hoping) someone to prove me wrong here.

i find that strange, yet very intriguing...

as someone who has spent a year traveling around in a bus with trailer and dirtbikes on the back, i'm always dreaming of the next trip and keen to see everyone's mobile home rigs.

the best one i've seen was a moke with foldable windscreen... the moke backed up the ramps to the back of a bus, then in under the bed! awesome.

i reckon my next motorhome will start with something like this...

Hitch-N-Go looks good, but they don't have one for the minis.

Would be ideal, especially if you have no room to store a trailer. Do you need to register them?

quote from the website[img] * Do I need an Engineer?
Hitch n Go A - Frames are engineer certified up to 1900 kgs. [The certificate supplied must be carried with you at all times whilst towing].

However customers with vehicles registered in NSW; are required to have a secondary engineers inspection of the ‘combination’ i.e.; the motor home, A-Frame, and towed vehicle connected and operational.

I saw something similar with a Moke but it drove up onto a turn table under the bus in the storage compartment.

In a magazine in the 70's I saw a shortened Moke that fitted sideways under the bus in the luggage compartment. That means the Moke was about 8 foot long!

There were a few different caravans built for Minis and other small cars to tow. They were not that rare at the time.
